Making what's worth doing work better.
My core skill is questioning why we do what we do, then improving the process so what's worth doing gets done better and faster. Everywhere I go, I apply kaizen and Elon's algorithm (question, delete, simplify, accelerate, automate), and I learn whatever the job requires.
Things I've made better
- HealthTree University: built the tech and processes to film, edit, and publish hundreds of cancer education videos, growing it into one of the largest collections of cancer education videos, with top researchers teaching the courses.
- HealthTree: took over a document-scanning project projected to need 14 more months and redid it completely in 6.
- Hammerton: turned a 40-hour process into a 1-hour process with a Python script.
- Angel Studios: took over the data team; answers that used to take days for simple questions and weeks or months for harder ones now take minutes.
- HealthTree: applying AI to software engineering cut typical bug-fix lead time from 50 days to 3 hours while reducing change failure rate.
